The evidence layer for serious injury claims.

BuildFol preserves the source-backed record across the systems you already use, so Risk and Legal can see what happened without rebuilding it from memory.

Built before the claim. Useful when the stakes become legal.

BuildFol is in development. Nothing on this page is generally available yet.

How BuildFol works

  • Works with your systems

Reads records from the software you already use, starting with Procore. No double entry for your crews.

  • Keeps every record's source

Each record is sealed with where it came from and when it arrived, so you can tell later whether it changed.

  • Reconstructs the claim

A source-linked account of what the records show, years later, with any gaps stated plainly.

BuildFol is designed to carry that record forward into higher-stakes claim and legal review.

Works alongside what you run

Your project and safety software is a source. It doesn't have to be replaced.

Project and EHS platforms run the work: incidents, inspections, corrective actions, training and compliance. BuildFol is built around something else: the factual record that matters when a serious injury becomes a claim.

Your systems organize records around today's work. BuildFol organizes them around the question a claim asks later.

Claim reconstruction

The claim shouldn't be the first time you assemble the record.

  1. Before

Conditions, inspections, training and related records.

  2. During

The event, the people and assets involved, and the response.

  3. After

Investigation, follow-up, verification and any gaps.

Every statement links to the record it came from. The record was there before anyone asked for it.

No software scores. No predictions. No rankings.

In BuildFol, software will never score, predict or rank. A risk score is a number software produced. It isn't something anyone on your site saw, said or decided.

What BuildFol provides instead: source-backed facts, provenance, chronology, response history, verification and clearly stated gaps.

AI doesn't decide what happened. Anything a model proposes will stay a proposal until a person confirms it.

FAQs

How is BuildFol different from project-management or EHS software?

Project and EHS platforms are designed to run operational workflows such as projects, incidents, inspections, corrective actions, training, permits and compliance. BuildFol does not replace those systems. It is purpose-built around the factual record that becomes important when a serious injury turns into a claim. BuildFol connects the systems you choose, preserves source context and organizational response, and reconstructs what the record shows across the life of the event: before, during and after the injury.

Why can't our existing EHS or project platform do this?

Those systems may already preserve valuable incident and operational history, and BuildFol is designed to use that information rather than duplicate it. The difference is the product focus: BuildFol is organized around serious-injury claim reconstruction and the evidentiary questions Risk and Legal teams eventually need answered. The value is not another incident form or dashboard. It is having a source-backed factual record that can be reconstructed later without starting from scratch after the claim arrives.

Our safety software has claims management. Is this the same?

No. Claims management tracks a claim's status and cost. BuildFol shows what the records documented before the claim existed.

Does BuildFol use AI?

Where it helps read records. It will never decide what happened, rate anyone or predict claims, and nothing a model proposes will become part of the record until a person confirms it.

Is our data used to train AI?

No. BuildFol does not use your company's records to train AI models. Not ours, and not our AI providers'.

Will it tell us whether we're liable?

No. It shows what the records say. What that means for a claim is for your counsel.

Are the records “court-ready”?

No software can promise that. BuildFol shows whether a record changed after it was sealed and keeps where it came from. Its weight is for counsel and the court.
